Tuffchews are designed for aggressive chewers and are made from super tough, non toxic polymer to outlast ordinary nylon chews. Ribs make the chew easy to hold with mouth or paws and provide extra gum massaging features.
Raised tooth-cleaning nodules help reduce tartar and plaque whilst the varied thickness and texture adds interest for dogs. All Dog Mate chews have recesses which can be filled with food to encourage chewing.
Guidelines for use:
A dog's ability to chew depends on its breed and character. Always purchase the chew best suited to the largest, most aggressive chewer in the household. We recommend Dog Mate Tuffchew for aggressive chewers and Dog Mate Dentease for older, less aggressive chewers.
Regularly inspect the chew and replace when it becomes worn. Ingestion of small shavings will cause no harm.
