Fish Mate is pleased to confirm that its two new top of the range pond pumps are now available from koi and water garden specialists nation-wide.
Previously announced and shown at GLEE 2007, these superb high power pond pumps (16,200 and 21,500 lph) are especially suited to koi keepers and those with larger ponds.
The anti-clog open impeller design and high flow strainer filter cage allow solids handling to 12mm (1/2”).
Long life ceramic bearings and a reliable asynchronous motor allow us to offer a meaningful three year guarantee.
Unusually for pumps of this size, a full fountain kit is included as part of the package. A fountain is not only decorative, but is helpful for increasing the oxygen content of pond water during warm weather. An impressive fountain height of 3m is achievable using the supplied tiered nozzle and four fountain options are included in the kit.
Both models carefully balance a high working head (for spectacular waterfalls) against very reasonable running costs. The 16,000 has a maximum head of 6.8m and a power consumption of 295 watts. The 22,000 pumps to 8.1m yet its power consumption is just 445 watts.
Other important features include 10m power cable and a thermal cutout for safety.
